We assembled an ecological urban garden at Mahou headquarters on Calle Titan in Madrid. The project was carried out by one of our favourite divisions of the business. We just love planting, watering and harvesting things!
We’ve called this department Hurbanos. It specialises in green, sustainable projects for companies. We’ve set up urban gardens in offices, be it on terraces, patios, or in gardens.
Mahou is delighted with their new fruit and vegetable garden, which can be found on the terrace of their office building (see news article). The area is already being used by employees to take rest, have lunch and relax. This chilled-out, ecological space will also be used for internal meetings and client negotiations.
Planta 18/Hurbanos provided a turn-key project for Mahou. We took care of research, construction planning, full installation (manufacturing of plots, irrigation systems, cabling, etc.) and plant cultivation (replanting, maintenance, etc.), as well as the naming, logo, corporate identity design and other media-related aspects of the project.
In addition to the pleasure received from admiring these beautiful gardens, our ecological fruit and vegetable patches are a great idea for any company. They encourage employees to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and follow a balanced diet between. They also foster continuous team building and offer a source of internal training. What’s more, they bolster pride in belonging to an innovative company with healthy, ethical values.
In general, Hurbanos projects involve several key departments such as marketing, communications, human resources and corporate social responsibility. And we mustn’t forget that these internal initiatives transcend other areas – the company will adopt a modern, socially-inclusive and sustainable public image.
